Dresden Philharmonic unveils a 2024/25 season headlined by Boris Giltburg

Boris Giltburg continues his exciting collaboration with the Dresdner Philharmonie in Germany for its 2024/25 season and will be playing Grieg’s Piano Concerto. Joining forces once again with Maestro Krzysztof Urbanski, Giltburg promises a dazzling evening in May 2025. Their previous collaboration in September of last year, featuring Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3, left audiences spellbound and eager for an encore.

Cello virtuoso Emanuel Graf Joins TYB Arts!

We are excited to announce the addition of cellist Emanuel Graf to the TYB Arts family.
Wielding the L’évêque de La Rochelle cello crafted by the legendary Antonio Stradivari in 1690, Graf brings an unparalleled richness to every performance, captivating audiences with his dashing and masterful execution.

Graf has worked with famous conductors such as Zubin Metha, Herbert Blomstedt, Christoph Eschenbach, Andris Nelsons, Gianandrea Noseda, Paavo Järvi, Yoel Gamzou, and Kirill Petrenko; played with orchestras like the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, Zurich Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Basel Symphony Orchestra; and played at venues including la Scala in Milan, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Chicago Symphony Center and Carnegie Hall.

Prepare for a spectacular musical evening as virtuoso pianist Boris Giltburg returns to grace the stage of the Bochumer Symphoniker! On April 14th, Giltburg will captivate audiences with Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 in E-flat major, Op.73, famously known as the “Emperor” concerto.

Giltburg has expressed his excitement at reuniting with Maestro Steven Sloane, with whom he had previously shared the stage for his performance of Rachmaninov’s Fourth Piano Concerto.

Proud to announce Barbara Dragan as the newest conductor to join TYB Arts

Conductor Barbara Dragan is the newest addition to TYB Arts’ family. Dragan was named Young Associate Conductor at Orchestre National de France for the 2023/24 season, an achievement that catapults her to centre stage and makes her a talent to watch.

You can see her in action in upcoming performances at Opera de Toulon, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Sinfonia Varsovia, Philharmonic Choir Tokyo, and Symphony Nova Scotia.
